2021 10 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) SPECIAL INSPECTION & MATERIAL TESTING SERVICES OX RIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DARIEN, CT The Ox Ridge Building Committee (ORBC) is requesting proposals for a qualified Special Inspection and Material Testing Firm (Testing Agency) to conduct Special Inspections and Material Testing Services for the construction project of the new Ox Ridge Elementary School in Darien, CT. Respondents are required to submit 3 original hardcopies and one electronic copy of their proposal. Original copies must be in a sealed envelope marked “Ox Ridge School Inspection & Testing Services RFP” and delivered no later than 3:00 PM on Monday, October 26, 2020 to: Office of the First Selectman Darien Town Hall, Room 202 2 Renshaw Road Darien, CT 06820 Electronic copy to be emailed to Karen Dunn, kdunn@darienct.gov, and subject line must contain “Confidential Bid 2021-10”. The ORBC reserves the right to reject any or all RFPs, or waive defects in the same, if it deems such to be in the best interest of the ORBC. The ORBC is not required to accept the lowest fee proposal, nor is it obligated to enter into an agreement on the basis of any proposal submitted in response to the RFP. All costs incurred in the preparation of the proposal will be borne entirely by the proposer. All proposals submitted become property of the Town.
