890117 TOWN OF MONTVILLE CONNECTICUT, WWTF HEADWORKS IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. Sealed bids for the RE-BID of Contract Number 2021-5: WWTF Headworks Improvement Project: will be received by the Town of Montville until 10:00 AM May 7, 2021 and read aloud via teleconference as posted on the Town[”]s website. The Work primarily includes construction of improvements to the Montville WPCA Headworks facilities located at 83 Pink Row, Uncasville CT. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of fifteen percent (15%) of the bid. Bidders are advised that both the Department of Administrative Services Prequalification Certificate and Update (Bid) Statement must accompany the bid if the bid exceeds $500,000. (C.G.S. 4b-91 as amended). Contract Documents may be obtained at the Town of Montville website, www.montville-ct.org. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents that differ from documents available from this website. Issuing office is Town of Montville Finance Department located at 310 Norwich-New London Turnpike, Uncasville, CT 06382. Printing Bidding Documents is the responsibility of the prospective Bidder. Printed copies will not be issued by the Town. A pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 AM, March 31, 2021 via Zoom teleconference as indicated in the contract documents. Pre-bid conference attendance is mandatory. A non-mandatory site walk will be held at the Water Pollution Control Facility, 83 Pink Row, Uncasville, CT. on April 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM. All prospective bidders are invited to ask questions to the Town and/or the Town[”]s Agent(s) during this conference. Bidders will be required to conform to administration, insurance, and legal requirements identified in the contract documents. The Town reserves the right to waive any technical defects in the bids; to reject bids which do not conform to the terms and conditions described in the specifications; to reject any, any part of, or all bids; to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding process. All work to be performed in connection with the proposed project will be subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances and regulations.
