The bids will be available for the public on PennBid website that same day. 1208 SOUTH PROSPECT STREET DEMOLITION This project involves the total demolition and disposal of an existing commercial structure located at 1208 South Prospect Street. Online sealed bids shall be submitted by way of the PennBid Program. Paper bids will not be accepted for this Project. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost at PennBid-www.PennBid.net. Plans and specifications are on file and open to public inspection at the offices of the Owner, address listed above. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled, but prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at his own risk. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids. Davis-Bacon wage rates apply to this contract. MBE/WBE requirements are per CBDG grant requirements. The contractor will enter into a Project Labor Agreement with the City of Nanticoke and the Northeast Building Trades and Construction Council (“NBTC”).
