Bidders will be required to furnish a 5% bid bond with their bid, and the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Because the exact timing of available funding is not known at this time, no bidder may withdraw his/her bids prior to November 1, 2021. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the bidding, to accept the bid considered to be in the best interest of the OWNER, or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the OWNER to do so. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. The contractor will be required to comply with the equal employment opportunity requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration.
