ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS – NOTICE
The Board of Commissioners of Hampden Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, will accept sealed proposals electronically via PennBid until 12:00 p.m., prevailing time June 30, 2021 for the following:
2021 Carlisle Pike Roadway Widening Project
The work of this project consists of obtaining all materials and completing all work related to roadway widening and concrete curb placement, including all necessary and incidental items for the work complete in place as described in the Contract Documents.
All bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10 %) of the bid.
Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at no cost on PennBid (www.pennbid.net). The successful bidder will be required to post a performance bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the bid price.
Bid Proposals will be opened at 12:15 p.m. on June 30, 2021 with bid results made available publicly on PennBid.
It is anticipated that the project cost is at least $25,000, therefore Pennsylvania prevailing wages under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act will be required.
The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the Township.
