ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids, addressed to the City of Heath Director of Public Works, will be received at the Public Works Office, Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Drive, Thursday, May 13, 2021, until the hour of 2:00 pm, for the following project:
FM-740 South Median Irrigation
.
The project includes design and installation of a Median Irrigation System Including Main Lines, Lateral Lines, Rain Bird 1806 6-inch Pop-up Spray Heads (or Approved Equal), Tree Bubblers For 88 Trees, Hunter Solar Stainless Controllers (or Approved Equal), Misc. Fittings, Wiring, Etc., Traffic Control and other miscellaneous items. This is a median irrigation project. Conduits are installed between the medians and from the medians to the water service/meter for the contractor to install irrigation lines. Project Time is 25 Calendar Days
.
Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope externally marked- FM-740 South Median Irrigation.
Bids will be opened and publicly read in the City Community Room at the Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Drive
. No bids will be open or considered if received after the specified time.
Prequalification is not required. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities and/or to accept the bid or bids deemed best for the City
.
A 5% Bid Bond or a check in the amount of 5% of bid (refundable, in-lieu of bid bond) is due with the bids. A Payment Bond (if cost is greater than $25,000) will be required for this project. A written warranty will be required (1-year, 100%). Bid documents, plans and specifications may be examined and procured at the City of Heath Public Works Office located at the Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Drive, Heath, Texas (phone numbers- 972-961-4885/fax 469-273-4015), at no cost, beginning May 27, 2021. Only those Bids received from Contractors who have obtained the plans and specifications for this project from the City of Heath and are listed on the City’s plan holders list, will be opened at the bid opening for consideration.
