ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the THROOP BOROUGH -GEORGE STREET STORM PROJECT will be received online via the PennBid Program, by THROOP BOROUGH, until 10:00 AM local time on MARCH 29, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBid’s website. The Project consists of the installation of 400 LF of storm pipe and storm inlets and manholes, replacement of 35 LF of sanitary sewer line along George and Simpson Streets in Throop Borough. Work also includes erosion and sediment controls and restoration of disturbed areas in the Borough of Throop, Lackawanna County. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All bidding documents are available at no cost at https://pennbid.procureware.com. A pre-bid teleconference will be held on MARCH 17, 2021 at 9:30 AM by calling 866-414-2828, Confirmation Code 609849. Attendance at the pre-bid teleconference is mandatory. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA PREVAILING WAGE RATES.
