ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the construction of the ASHLEY BOROUGH S. MAIN STREET STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS will be received online via the PennBid Program, by ASHLEY BOROUGH, until 11:00 A.M local time on JULY 12, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBids website. The project includes construction of new curb and sidewalk along the west side of S. Main Street from Coalville Street to the Family Dollar Driveway and on the east side of S. Main Street from Fall Street to Cook Street including new ADA curb ramps, driveway adjustments, drainage adjustments, a tree lawn and associated improvements. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All bidding documents are available at no cost at https://pennbid.procureware.com. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: PA Prevailing Wages Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex.
