ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the rehabilitation of Bainbridge Campbell Park, located on property owned by West Pittston Borough located at 27 Montgomery Avenue, will be received online via the PennBid Program, by West Pittston Borough, until 11:00 AM local time on April 21, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBids website. The Project consists of the rehabilitation of a 6,000 SF +/- community park. The work includes the demolition of existing playground equipment and signage, installation of new playground equipment and site furniture supplied by others, provide and install signage, sign and mark ADA parking space, and landscaping. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All bidding documents are available at no cost at https://pennbid.procureware.com. There will be no pre-bid conference for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
