ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by the Township of Moon, Al-legheny County, Pennsylvania through the Quest Construction Da-ta Network (QuestCDN) at www.questcdn.com until 11:10 AM prevailing time on September 23, 2021 for: MUNICIPAL BUILDING INTERIOR RENOVATIONS Contract No. 21-MB7 – General: The scope of work includes select demolition, asbestos abatement; interior walls and wall finishes, acoustical tile ceiling, interior doors, windows and interior signage; and all necessary appurtenances. Contract No. 21-MB8 – Plumbing: The scope of work includes demolition of existing plumbing fixtures and piping, construction of proposed plumbing fixtures and piping and all necessary appurtenances. Contract No. 21-MB9 – Electrical: The scope of work generally in-cludes electrical construction associated with the interior renova-tions to the existing Moon Township Municipal Building. Work includes wiring facility, interior lighting, emergency lighting, light switches, touchscreen switches and power packs, receptacles, data outlets, fire alarms and connections to HVAC equipment; and all necessary appurtenances. A General Bidders meeting will be held at the Municipal Building on September 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit of $150.00 from QuestCDN using the following project numbers: 7959527 (General), 7959536 (Plumbing) and 7959552 (Electrical). The bid must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Moon. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania “Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3”; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
