ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Pottsville, Pennsylvania until Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, City Hall, 401 North Centre Street, Pottsville, Pennsylvania, when they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the purchase of: SALT – 2,500 Tons, more or less, price FOB destination per ton of bulk salt, 24 hours delivery to the City of Pottsville Maintenance Yard on East Railroad Street, for the period of November 15, 2021 to March 31, 2022. ENVELOPES TO BE MARKED – “Bids for Salt” and mailed or delivered to the City Clerk, City Hall, 401 North Centre Street, Pottsville, PA 17901. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid. Please include a fax number with your bid to facilitate notification of bid results. City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bids and to accept any bid which it believes to be in the best interest of the City and to award and contract to the lowest responsible bidder.
