ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS SEALED PROPOSALS will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Darlington Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania until 3:00 P.M., prevailing time on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Darlington Township Municipal Building – 3590 Darlington Road, Darlington, PA 16115 and publicly opened and read aloud at the Darlington Township Board of Supervisors meeting at 7:00 P.M., prevailing time on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Darlington Township Municipal Building – 3590 Darlington Road, Darlington, PA 16115 for the following contract: Contract No. 2021-04 1. 150 Tons of Rock Salt 2. 500 Tons of Anti-Skid Material Type AS-2 All bidding requirements, conditions and materials furnished shall conform to the current specifications of Penn DOT form 408 and appropriate Bulletins unless otherwise specified. Bidders may submit proposals on any individual item or any combination of these items or on all items. Proposal Forms, Specifications, Form of Contract and Instructions to Bidders may be viewed and obtained at the Darlington Township Municipal Office at 3590 Darlington Road, Darlington Township, Pennsylvania 16115. All proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the Municipality and delivered as specified in Instructions to Bidders. Bid and Performance Bonds with Certificate of Insurance shall be furnished as specified in Instructions to Bidders. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposal or any part of a proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
