ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS SUGAR NOTCH BOROUGH 742 MAIN STREET SUGAR NOTCH, PA 18706 2021 CDBG ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS CONNOR STREET, OAK STREET, AND WOODLAND ROAD Sealed Bids for the construction of the 2021 CDBG ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS – CONNOR STREET, OAK STREET, AND WOODLAND ROAD will be received online via the PennBid Program, by SUGAR NOTCH BOROUGH, until 2:00 P.M local time on April 21, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened electronically and read at 742 MAIN STREET, SUGAR NOTCH, PA 18706. The Project consists of ADA curb ramps, roadway repair, and paving and related work along Connor Street, Oak Street, and Woodland Road. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All bidding documents are available at no cost at https://pennbid.procureware.com. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: DAVIS-BACON WAGE RATES Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex. The Labor Standards, Wage Determination and Anti-Kickback regulations (29 CFR, Part 3) issued by the Secretary of Labor are included in the contract documents of this project and govern all work under the contracts.
