ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Pease Development Authority – Division of Ports and Harbors (“PDA-DPH”) invites sealed bids for security fence improvements at Market Street Marine Terminal located at 555 Market Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire Bids will be received at the office of PDA-DPH at 555 Market Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, either in person or by mail, until 2:30 PM local time, April 15, 2022 at which time they will be opened publicly and read aloud. The business and mailing address is: Pease Development Authority – Division of Ports and Harbors 555 Market Street Portsmouth, NH 03801 Prospective contractors must be fully insured and have a current registration with the Office of The Secretary of State to do business in New Hampshire and be able to provide a certificate of good standing. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bond in the amount of 5% for bid security. Bid documents may be examined on or after March 25, 2022 by visiting https://peasedev.org/business/bids-opportunities/ or contacting Ms. Brenda Therrien via email b.therrien@peasedev.org or (603) 436-8500. It is the responsibility of the contractor to register an email address with Ms. Therrien for use in the event any addendums are issued. Before preparing the proposals, contractors should carefully examine all contract documents. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled so contractors will become fully informed about all existing conditions and any limiting factors that could affect the price. The pre-bid meeting will be held on April 6, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Market Street Marine Terminal. In the event that the contractor discovers discrepancies and/or omissions in the bid documents or is in doubt as to the intent, the contractor should contact Ms. Therrien in writing via email. Addendums will be issued and provided to registered bidders. As this project is partially funded by a federal grant, attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract and Buy America Requirements. No contractor may withdraw his/her bid within sixty (60) days following the opening. The PDA-DPH reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality, and to accept any bid that it may deem in its sole discretion to be in its best interest. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this advertisement. No contractor will be discriminated against on grounds of race, sex, religion, color or national origin.
