ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS White Haven Borough Rail Yard Park 312 Main Street White Haven, PA 18661 White Haven Borough, Luzerne County Sealed Bids for the construction of the Rail Yard Park, located on property owned by White Haven Borough, will be received online via the PennBid Program, by White Haven Borough, until 3 PM local time on April 15, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBid’s website. The Project consists of a 14,000 sq. ft. area which will include two plazas, arbor, ADA sidewalks, benches, planters, trash receptacles, relocated bike rack, lighting, landscaping, chain-link fencing, decorative fencing and stormwater management facilities. Existing parking lot drainage improvements include a new inlet, drainage pipe and regraded rain gardens. Additional parking lot lighting and ADA parking space are also included. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All bidding documents are available at no cost https://pennbid.procureware.com. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held for this project on March 25, 2021 at 10 AM at the Community Library located at 121 Towanda Street, with a site visit to follow. Masks will be mandatory. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The following wage rate requirements are applicable to this contract: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, religion, color, handicap, national origin, age or sex. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for the period of 90 days, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to the end of this period.
