AMESBURY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT BID AMESBURY, MA FEBRUARY 1, 2023 AMESBURY PUBLIC SCHOOLS/CITY OF AMESBURY INVITATION FOR BID The AMESBURY PUBLIC SCHOOLS/CITY OF AMESBURY invites sealed bids in accordance with Chapter 30B of the Massachusetts General Laws from Furniture and Equipment Vendors to Supply, Deliver and Install Furnishings and Equipment for the: AMESBURY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ­ 193 LIONS MOUTH ROAD, AMESBURY, MA 01913 Bids will be received by the Amesbury Public Schools, City of Amesbury, Amesbury, Massachusetts, the Awarding Authority, at the Office of the Superintendent, Amesbury Public Schools, 5 Highland Street, Amesbury, MA on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will not be accepted nor may submitted bids be corrected, modified or withdrawn after the deadline for bids. Bids shall be addressed as follows: FURNITURE/EQUIPMENT BIDS for the Amesbury Elementary School Tuesday, February 21, 2023 ­ 10 a.m. Office of the Superintendent Amesbury Public Schools 5 Highland Street Amesbury, MA 01913 Bid documents will be available in electronic form only by email request to Point Line Space, Inc. at gaela@point-line-space.com with “AMESBURY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FF&E BID” in the subject line, at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. There will be no charge for contract documents. One or more purchase orders may be issued for the FF&E hereunder. This will be a one time purchase. DELIVERY AND COMPLETION: Deliveries and installations shall be scheduled between May 22, 2023 and June 2, 2023. All delivery shedules are subject to change depending on the General Contractor’s work completion. Bidders shall indicate lead-time requirements on the Bid Form. Such information shall be attached to each copy of the Bid Form. The building elevator will be available for use by the Furniture and Equipment Contractors. Bid security in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount bid must accompany each bid. Certified or bank checks only, letters of credit or bonds will be accepted. Bonds must be from surety companies licensed by the Commonwealth Division of Insurance to transact business in Massachusetts. All bids shall be in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 30B of the Massachusetts General Laws. All bids shall be submitted as one (1) ORIGINAL and two (2) COPIES, including an electronic copy on a “thumb drive” or CD. The Owner reserves the right to vary quantities and to accept or reject any/or all Bids, or any part of any Bid, if it be in the public interest to do so.
