ANNUAL ROADWAY MAINTENANCE CONTRACTS

TOWN OF HOLDEN NOTICE OF BID The Town of Holden will receive the following bids until Thursday, May 20, 2021* at 10:00 AM in the office of the Town Manager, 1204 Main Street, Holden, Massachusetts at which time bids will be opened and read: Hot Mix Asphalt, In Place Asphalt Cold Planing Microsurfacing Polymer & Crumb Rubber Modified Asphalt Compound Crack Sealing Pavement Markings The plans and specifications for the bid may be obtained from the Town of Holden’s electronic bid system, found at https://www.holdenma.gov/bids. The plans and specifications are listed under “Annual Roadway Maintenance Contracts”. Register using the form found at the link for this project, as this will ensure you automatically receive any associated addendums. Once completed, you will then be able to view the Bid. Interested parties may bid on one, all, or any combination of the work items listed. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “BID ENCLOSED” as to appropriate bid category. Minimum wage rates are established for the project as set forth in the bid documents. A certified check made payable to the Town of Holden or a bid bond for 5% of total bid price must be submitted as bid security. A fifty-percent (50%) Payment Bond is required upon entering a contract with the Town. A Massachusetts Department of Transportation Prequalification is required for contractors seeking to perform Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement In-Place, Asphalt Cold Planing, Pavement Markings and Microsurfacing. The Town Manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities in the bidding procedures, or to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the Town of Holden. Peter M.
