REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES

Asotin County and the Cities of Clarkston and Asotin are jointly announcing to the public its general projected requirements for professional engineering and architectural services for 2023.

Asotin County and the Cities of Clarkston and Asotin anticipates a need for engineering and architectural services related to small, mid-sized and large projects including but not necessarily limited to roadway and bridge design, sewer planning and design, transportation/traffic planning, stormwater system design and regulatory compliance, site planning and building/facilities design, general planning, landfill development, compliance and monitoring, and hazardous materials environmental compliance. Specific areas of anticipated expertise include but are not necessarily limited to civil, geotechnical, transportation and environmental engineering, bridge structural and scour engineering, and architecture.

Interested consultants are requested to send a brief statement of qualifications (SOQ) including firm resume, key firm members, project experience and at least three references. Consultants who have current SOQ””‘s on file at Asotin County are asked only to submit a letter of continued interest. It is the consultant’s responsibility to verify their SOQ””‘s are on file. The County may discard SOQ””‘s not updated within three years. Consultants are selected from SOQ””‘s on file, unless a separate RFQ is made for a specific project.

Asotin County, and the Cities of Asotin and Clarkston, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4, and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined at 49 CFR Part 26 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex in consideration for an award.
