WOYDEN, JR., P.E GANNETT FLEMING, INC. 1010 Adams Avenue Audubon, PA 19403 610-783-3889 SEALED Bids will be received by the OWNER online via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net) until 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, April 7, 2021. The Bids will be opened online and the results posted via the PennBid Program. The Project consists of the following general components: • The work generally comprises construction of approximately 8,755 LF of replacement 8-inch PVC sewer pipe, 456 LF of replacement 8-DIP sewer pipe, 671 LF of replacement 10-inch PVC sewer pipe, 159 LF of replacement 10-inch DIP sewer pipe, 1,019 LF of replacement 12-inch PVC sewer pipe, associated laterals and replacement of approximately 47 manholes. The Project Work will be performed under one Contract as follows: 2021 SANITARY SEWER REPLACEMENT Bidding Documents are available online at no cost at www.PennBid.net Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than 10 percent of the Bid total, payable to the Owner in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Laws and regulations applicable to this Contract include the following: • Commonwealth of Pennsylvania “Steel Products Procurement Actâ€? – Act No. 3 of l978 as amended • Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442) Bidders are subject to all applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania wage laws, and bids shall be prepared accordingly. The applicable wage predetermination is included in the Project Manual. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance bonds and payment in the amount of 100% of the successful bid amount. All contractors on this Project are required to ensure that employees and applicants will not be discriminated against because of race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, handicap, marital status or national origins; and, that the statutes and regulations of federal and state law regarding non-discrimination are met. Contractors and subcontractors are required to furnish records to ascertain compliance with the Nondiscrimination Clause. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m., prevailing time, March 22, 2021, at the Owner’s Garage located at 4099 Eagleville Road, Eagleville, PA 19403 with a site visit following the meeting. Proper CDC guidelines for COVID-19 protection must be adhered to. Face masks and proper distancing is required. The Owner reserves the right, at its option, to waive as an informality any, defects, errors, or omissions in any or all Bids; and to reject any or all Bids. END OF SECTION NTH March 11 a-1
