ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS COLLEGEVILLE TRAPPE JOINT PUBLIC WORKS CLAMER AVENUE WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT General Notice Collegeville Trappe Joint Public Works (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Clamer Avenue Water Main Replacement Entech No. 4234.014 Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Collegeville Trappe Joint Public Works office located at 220 West First Avenue, Trappe, PA 19426, until 2:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, March 18th, 2021. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project includes the following Work: The Project consists of, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 550 LF of 8-inch ductile iron water main, connection point to existing water including valve, valve boxes, tie-ins, curb stops, boxes, services, associated appurtenances, and surface restoration, all within the Borough of Collegeville, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Obtaining the Bidding Documents The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Entech Engineering, Inc., 201 Penn Street, Suite 300, Reading, PA 19601 attention Mary Wyniawskyj (mwyniawskyj@entecheng.com or 610-373-6667, ext. 1112). Bidders may obtain bidding documents electronically. Bidders shall contact Mary Wyniawskyj at mwyniawskyj@entecheng.com if interested in obtaining these bidding documents. Access to the electronic set of bidding documents can be obtained for a non-refundable charge of $25.00. Pre-bid Conference A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Instructions to Bidders. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, bid security, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Attention is called to the fact that prevailing minimum wage rates as determined by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Industry must be paid by the Contractors on this project and that employees and applicants for employment shall not be discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Each Bidder is required to meet the requirements of Public Works Employment Verification Act, Act 127 of 2012. Any and all steel products used or supplied in the performance of the contract or any subcontracts shall be from steel made in the United States. The Collegeville Trappe Joint Public Works hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to refuse and reject any or all bids submitted, and also reserves the right to waive any informality in bids received. Except as otherwise provided by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for sixty (60) days after the Bid Due Date, unless the contract award is delayed by a required approval of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case the Bids shall remain open to acceptance and shall be irrevocable for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after the Bid Due Date.
