INVITATION TO BID The Board of Supervisors of West Fallowfield Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania is seeking sealed bids for flat roof replacement for the Community Building located at 3095 Limestone Road, Cochranville, Pennsylvania. The project includes the removal of the existing EPDM and installation of new 1â€? Poly ISO to the existing insulation mechanically fastened to the structural deck. Install .060 EPDM fully adhered to insulation to the entire roof area, flash all penetrations, vertical walls, drains, etc., inspecting all downspout outlets and replace/repair as necessary including clean up and disposal of all debris. Bidders are responsible for the inspection of this site to determine the necessary work to install the new roof, inspect the downspout outlets and replace/repair as necessary. Bids shall be in sealed envelopes with a notation FLAT ROOF REPLACEMENT BID ENCLOSED. Mailed bids shall be in double envelopes with the inside envelope identifying it as a sealed bid. Bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of West Fallowfield Township until 11:00 am, prevailing time, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 in the Township Office at the above address. Bids will be publicly opened and read a the regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Supervisors on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. at the above address. The contract may be awarded at that meeting or at a subsequent meeting which shall be announced. Bids received after the above-referenced time and date will not be considered. Bids will not be accepted electronically. Bid securities shall accompany each bid submitted in the form of either a certified check, bank cashier’s check or bid bond executed by an acceptable surety company in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid. Bidders may contact the Township office at (610) 593-5916 to request bid packages. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act including amendments and supplements thereto is in effect for this Project. All bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening. West Fallowfield Township reserves the right to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in or to reject any or all bids or parts thereof.
