NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Project Name: Lansdowne Borough: McKinley Park Tot Lot Site Improvements. Public notice is given that sealed proposals will be received online via the PennBid Program by the Borough of Lansdowne by October 13, 2021 until 10:00 AM prevailing time, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary for the Lansdowne McKinley Park Tot Lot Site Improvements. The scope of work includes the installation of sitework, grading, installation of specified âplaygroundâ? equipment, a new water service, paving, concrete work, ADA ramps, signage, lighting, erosion control and all associated facilities as described on the plan set. There is no physical public bid opening for this project, bids will be revealed via the PennBid website. A uniform fee of 0.333% (1/2 of 1 percent) of the bid amount (up to $5,000) is applied only to bidders who are awarded contracts. No fees apply to bidders who submit without being awarded the contract. All interested parties must submit questions via the web based system, by the posted deadline for questions. Bidders are not permitted to contact the Borough Engineer or staff directly. An optional âpre-bidâ? meeting will be held in person at the Borough Hall (12 East Baltimore Avenue, Lansdowne, PA 19050) on 10/5/2021 at 10:00 a.m. Bidders are required to submit a surety in the form of a bond or equivalent meeting 10% of the overall bid price in compliance with the contract documents. Bid bonds will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. Davis Bacon wage requirements are applicable to this project, the project is partially funded by a CDBG grant with support from the OHCD.
