TOWNSHIP OF LOWER MERION ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 1. Sealed Proposals will be received by the Township of Lower Merion for the following: Traffic Signal Installation at County Line Road and Montrose Avenue and ADA Improvements at County Line Road and S. Roberts Road Contract Number: 4236-21-27 2. Sealed proposals shall be submitted online via the Pennbid Program (www.Pennbid.net). 3. Proposals will be received until 11 am, prevailing time, November 9, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. 4. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section of the Bid Document. 5. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required. Also, a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25% is required. 6. Bidders may obtain electronic copies of drawings and specifications of this project, at no cost, on the PennBid website noted above. 7. Scope of Work The work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection of County Line Road and Montrose Avenue, and the installation of new concrete turn-restriction islands and ADA facilities at the intersection of County Line Road and S. Roberts Road in Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. The work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition; trenching and excavation; installation of poles, conduit and cables, emergency preemption, pedestrian signal heads, video detection; and signage; concrete sidewalk and ADA ramp construction; and site restoration. 8. Detailed specifications developed by the Pennoni Associates, Inc. Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted via the âQuestionsâ? feature in PennBid. The last day for receipt of written questions is end of business day of October 27, 2021. 9. ATTENTION IS CALLED TO THE FACT THAT NOT LESS THAN THE MINIMUM SALARIES AND WAGES AS SET FORTH IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS MUST BE PAID ON THIS PROJECT, AND THAT THE CONTRACTOR MUST ENSURE THAT EMPLOYEES AND APPLICANTS FOR THE EMPLOYMENT ARE NOT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BECAUSE OF THEIR, RACE, COLOR, RELIGIOUS CREED, ANCESTRY, AGE, SEX, NATIONAL ORIGIN, PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITY, OR BECAUSE OF A PERSONâS SEXUAL ORIENTATION, GENDER IDENTITY OR GENDER EXPRESSION. 10.
