PUBLIC NOTICE REQUEST FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by North Coventry Township to obtain contractor services to repair the Sweinhart Pavilion, located at 1954 St. Peters Road in Pottstown, PA. Bids will be received through the US mail, Personal delivery or Overnight delivery to the Township building, with offices at 845 S. Hanover Street, Pottstown, PA, 19465 on or before April 4, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. Bids will be opened by the Township on April 4, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. prevailing time at the Township building. All bids shall be sealed and clearly marked, âSweinhart Pavilion Repairs.â? Bid documents can be obtained at North Coventry Township, 845 S. Hanover St. Pottstown, PA 19465. The Township can be reached at 610-323-1694 or by email at twpmgr@northcoventry.us. There is a $20.00 non-refundable fee for printed bid documents, plus $15 for shipping and handling if mailing is requested. Electronic files are free. Checks are to be made payable to North Coventry Township. Proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the proposal. Proposals shall be effective for 90 days from the date of opening. The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% performance bond or certified check, a workmanâs compensation affidavit, and a certificate of insurance naming North Coventry Township as additional insureds, all within 10 calendar days after the contract is awarded North Coventry Township reserves the right to waive any non-material defects or irregularities in the bid, and to reject any or all bids or portions thereof. North Coventry Township, in accordance with Title VI of the U.S. Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Parts 21 and 23 of 49- C.F.R., notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that MBE/WBE will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and that no person will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award If the proposal is accepted, the bidder agrees to complete all work within ninety (90) calendar days unless instructed otherwise by the Township and no later than July 31, 2022.
