ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Upper Providence Township, Montgomery County will receive sealed bids online for the Caroline Drive & Carmen Circle Improvements Project. Sealed bids may be submitted and updated online via the PennBid™ Program until 11:00 A.M. local time, Thursday April 1, 2021. The project includes providing all labor, materials and equipment to complete the removal and replacement of all existing storm drainage facilities and selected segments of existing concrete curb and concrete sidewalk panels, installation of new ADA ramps, and mill and overlay of all existing macadam pavement areas along Caroline Drive and Carmen Circle, and the restoration of all areas disturbed during the construction of the project. Please note the low bidder is responsible for a fee to PennBid™. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Waiver of Lien. The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated.
