NOTICE TO BIDDERS Bids for the VIDEO DETECTION INSTALLATION SIGNAL PROJECT at the intersection of Main Street and 1st Avenue shall be submitted online via PennBid program until 3:00 P.M, prevailing time, Thursday April 21, 2022. Bids will be reviewed, awarded or rejected by Royersford Borough Council at 300 Main Street, Royersford, PA 19468 at their regularly scheduled Borough Meeting Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. Work will generally consist of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials for the installation of video detection on the mast arm at each corner including electrical, restoration, installation of two ADA ramps, maintenance and protection of traffic and all other work necessary for the completion of the project at the intersection of Main Street and 1st Avenue and as identified in the project manual. All work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 and referenced standards. Bidders must be a PennDOT Pre-qualified Prime or Pre-qualified Sub-Contractor for Work Class Code P. Bidding Documents and solicitation details are available online, at no cost, at pennbid.procureware.com. PennBid charges an award fee of 1/4 of 1% (.0025) for Fixed Fee Contracts to the contractor the project is awarded to. Minimum award fee is $100 and a maximum $5,000. A Bid Bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Royersford Borough in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the maximum Bid must be deposited by each bidder with their Bid. It is a requirement of this Contract that Bidder shall have a minimum 5 year, 5 project documented experience in the type of Work required by this Project. It is a requirement of this Contract that at least 50% of the Work be performed by Bidderâs own work force, not by subcontractor(s). As a precondition of being awarded a Contract, Successful Bidder, and its subcontractor(s) are required, to provide confirmation of compliance with Act 127 of 2012, the âPublic Works Employment Verification Actâ?. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety) as specified in the contract. Notice is hereby given to bidders that the contract is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Assistance was received from the Montgomery County Transportation 2020 Program. ROYERSFORD BOROUGH, at its option, hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any or all Bids and to waive any omissions, errors, or irregularities, not involving price, in any or all Bids.
