BOURNE RECREATION AUTHORITY SECTION 00.11.00 ADVERTISEMENT TO BID The Bourne Recreation Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for the ROOF REPLACEMENT at the GALLO ICE ARENA in Bourne Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by FRIAR ARCHITECTS, in Farmington CT. The project consists of approximately 31,000 s.f. of existing membrane roofing scheduled for removal and replacement. All existing roof membrane and insulation will be removed down to the existing metal roof deck and replaced with new insulation and a new .72 mil P.V.C. roofing system as specified. All existing gutters and downspouts will be removed and replaced as associated with the new roofing system. Section 07 54 19.11 Fully Adhered P.V.C Roofing SUBTRADE WORK: ALTERNATE #1 Removal and Replacement of the existing translucent panels on the front (east façade) of the building. ALTERNATE #2 Removal and replacement of the existing masonry control joint caulking on the east façade. (this material has been identified as hazardous material and proper remediation will be required by a licensed abatement contractor.) ALL work described above is estimated to cost approximately $250,000.00 Bids are subject to M.G.L. c. 149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c149 26 to 27H inclusive.
