PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION FOR BIDS Newmarket Housing Authority invites contractors to bid on the Great Hill Terrace Piping Replacement and Renovation Project at 34 Gordon Ave, Newmarket, NH. All bid proposals will be opened and read publicly at the offices of Newmarket Housing Authority. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Faxed and/or emailed bids will not be accepted. Complete bidder instructions with submission requirements are included in the project manual "Invitation to Bid" Bids received not meeting these requirements will not be accepted. General Contractor and Sub Contractor bids accepted. The project consists of, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of roofing, the removal and replacement of copper piping to PEX for cold water, hot water, and heating pipes, rehab of rear entrances to meet ADA compliance, replacement of kitchen cabinets and countertops, and installation of a school bus stop. 1. A 100% Payment and Performance Bond and 5% Bid Bond will be required. 2. This project is funded through the Community Development Finance Authority under the provisions, and subject to Community Development Block Grant requirements under Title 1 of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974. Town of Plymouth, NH Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Engineering Consulting Services The Town of Plymouth, NH seeks Qualification Statements for engineering consulting services to provide the design and oversight of a stormwater drainage project. The Town has been awarded a grant from the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration (EDA) to help fund a $3,375,000 stormwater improvement project. The scope of work for this project is the construction of stormwater management infrastructure improvements on Main and Russell Streets in the downtown commercial district consisting of approximately 4,000 linear feet of 12-inch to 30-inch stormwater pipelines, 75 stormwater structures, 12,000 square yards of roadway reconstruction, 2,500 square yard of sidewalk reconstruction and $70,000 in lighting improvements, and related appurtenances as necessary and appropriate. Concurrent with this project, the Plymouth Village Water & Sewer District (PVWSD), a separate utility that serves water and sewer to the Town, is designing a Main Street water and sewer improvement project. The Town and PVWSD are committed to working collaboratively on the design and the construction of both projects. The Scope of Engineering Consulting Services for the Downtown Stormwater Management Infrastructure Improvements Project includes, but is not limited to: design services, permitting assistance, bid document preparation, construction oversight/administration, compliance with EDA requirements, project coordination and administration assistance, and other general engineering tasks as they arise. Special emphasis is to be placed on coordination and cooperation with PVWSD and their consulting engineers to effectively integrate their project with the Town project to allow for a "single project" approach for bid documents and construction to eliminate duplication and redundancies as well as minimize disruption on Main Street.
