INVITATION FOR BID The Butler Township Board of Supervisors will receive sealed bids for Walnick Drive Culvert Replacement Project until 12:00 Noon (prevailing local time), Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at the office of Lehigh Engineering, LLC, 200 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, PA 17901. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at a monthly meeting of the Butler Township Board of Supervisors at the Butler Township Building. Faxed bids will not be accepted. The Walnick Drive Culvert Replacement consists of the Assembly and Installation of Culvert, an Asphalt Wearing Course (235 SY), 180 LF of Type 2S Guiderail, Type 2A Modified Subbase Course (235 SY), 4" Depth WMA Base Course (235 SY), Rock Scour Protection (33 CY), Select Borrow Backfill (750 CY), Debris Removal. A preconstruction meeting on site with the Municipal Engineer is required before project can commence. The description of work for the project is identified more clearly in the Proposal and Contract (When Executed), Contract specifications and Contract Documents, which may be obtained at the office of the Engineer, Lehigh Engineering, LLC, 200 Mahantongo Street, Pottsville, PA 17901, (570) 628-2300.
