City of Lawrence, Massachusetts 200 Common Street Lawrence, MA 01840 LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) SUB-BIDS ELEVATORS, MASONRY, PLUMBING AND WATERPROOFING, DAMP-PROOFING AND CAULKING CONTRACTORS FOR BID PACKAGE #2 The City of Lawrence (the “Owner”) is seeking bids for Filed Sub-Bid Elevators, Masonry, Plumbing, and Waterproofing Damp-Proofing, and Caulking from pre-qualified contractors for Bid Package #2: Sitework and Concrete (estimated construction cost for BP#2 is $19.7M), in accordance with M.G.L. c. 149A, § 8 and 810 AMR 10.00 for Bid Package #2; Sitework and Concrete (noted in the 11/21/21 RFQ) for the project addition and renovation of the existing Oliver Elementary School at 183 Haverhill Street to create K-8 1,000-student educational complex (estimated construction cost for full project $105M). Only pre-qualified trade contractors may submit bids for the Masonry, Plumbing and Waterproofing, Damp-proofing and Caulking Trades. Due to insufficient Prequalification after two RFQ’s, DCAMM CERTIFIED ELEVATOR TRADE CONTRACTORS MAY SUBMIT BIDS FOR THE ELEVATOR TRADE WIHOUT PREQUALIFICATION. Bid submissions from vendors are to be submitted electronically to www.biddocsonline.com and are due on or before 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022. Consigli Construction Co., is the Construction Manager for the project. A Pre-Bid conference will be held at the Oliver School at 183 Haverhill St. Lawrence, MA 01840 on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 2PM. All bidders are encouraged to attend.
