CITY OF NEWBURYPORT INVITATION FOR BIDDERS Library HVAC & Humidifer Control Units Replacement, Contract # 2021-Library-001-842167 The City of Newburyport, the Awarding Authority invites qualifed Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Contractors to submit bid quotes for the replacement of the existing HVAC and Humidifer Control units at the Newburyport Public Library. Bid Documents, including Bid Forms, may be obtained on Wednesday, May 26 at 10:00AM through an Electronic Bidding Process hosted by www.projectdog.com, using Project Code #842167. This Public Library project consists of the following: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and insurance to perform all work required to remove, install, program, test and run the proposed HVAC/Humidifcation Control System, in strict accordance of Contract Documents, all related Drawings; Specifcations; Addenda and any supplemental general conditions. There are no fled sub-bids for this project. Questions regarding Specifcations and Scope will be received through 4PM Tuesday, June 8, 2021 via email only to mbartlett@cityofnewburyport.com. All bids for this project are subject to the applicable bidding laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, including, but not limited to, General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended; Prevailing Wages; OSHA Certifcation; a bid deposit in the form of a Bid Bond or Certifed Check, in the amount of 5% of the value of the total bid and a 50% Payment bond. The contract will be awarded to the bidder deemed by the awarding authority to be the lowest responsible and eligible bidder. Estimated value of this contract is $125,000.
