CITY OF GARDNER PURCHASING DEPARTMENT INVITATION TO BID EMERGENCY ON-CALL PAVEMENT RESTORATION #2021-566 Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Purchasing Agent, Room 217 City Hall, Gardner, MA until Thursday, May 20th, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. and at that time and place publicly opened. This invitation seeks bids from qualified contractors for a contractor to provide emergency On-Call services for trench paving / pavement restoration after water breaks, and other related services. The bid shall include all labor, materials and equipment necessary to satisfy the requirements of this bid. Bidding procedure and award shall be subject to the provisions of Chapter 30 39M of the General Laws of the Commonwealth, including all current amendments. The City of Gardner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received, or to reject any and all bids, wholly or in part, and to accept proposals deemed to be in the best interest of the City. A Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the contract sum, prior to execution of the contract. Bid security in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier’s check payable to the City of Gardner is required in a dollar amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount.
