The new JOLTS program experimentally estimates job openings, hires, total separations, quits, layoffs and discharges among selected industries in the United States.

The 2020 year has brought great financial uncertainty and economic fluctuations. The Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) program experimentally estimates job openings, hires, total separations, quits, and layoffs and discharges among selected industries in the United States. 

The tables below reveal said information for the construction, mining and logging, manufacturing, trade, transportation, and utilities, and real estate and rental and leasing industries across the U.S.

It is important to note that with the release of January 2021 data on March 11, job openings, hires, and separations data have been revised to incorporate annual updates to the Current Employment Statistics employment estimates and the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) seasonal adjustment factors.
