INVITATION FOR BID #21146 Concord St Bridge over Walker Creek Replacement The City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids, IFB #21146, the scope of work under this contract includes, but is not limited to demolition of existing structure and walls, excavation, full depth pavement reconstruction, proposed wingwall, guardrail, bridge construction and other related work. Contractors intending to bid on this project must be Prequalified by MassDOT, Highway Division, in the category of “Bridges”. Bidders may not obtain an Official Bid document without being listed in the official or waiver contractor lists issued by MassDOT Prequalification Office. Informational Bid Sets may be obtained without prequalification. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. Bids are due and will be opened at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 9 Dale Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930 no later than May 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Bid packages will be available at the Purchasing Office beginning Apr. 28, 2021. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason.
