INVITATION FOR BID The City of Newburyport, the Awarding Authority invites qualified Vendors to submit sealed bids for the “CCTV SEWER CLEANING, MATERIAL DISPOSAL AND INSPECTION”, Newburyport MA 01950. Contract #2022-SWRCCTV-845673 BID DEADLINE 1:00 PM, SEPTEMBER 16, 2021 Awarded contractor will furnish all labor, materials and equipment to perform all work required for the cleaning, inspection and video documentation of all sewer mains as indicated in the CCTV Inspection Map. CCTV Reports, logs, electronic reports and worksheets must include the following information and conform to the applicable guide lines. CCTV to assess the condition of the existing sewer system within the project area. CCTV reports: NASSCO PACP Certified Database and electronic worksheets must accompany all inspection work. All cleaning reports must be documents specified by the City. It is anticipated that the work will take thirty days to substantially complete. This project is being Electronically Bid (E-Bid). All bids for this project are subject to the applicable bidding laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, including, but not limited to, General Laws Chapter 30, Section 39M, as amended; Prevailing Wages; OSHA Certification and a 50% Payment bond if awarded the contract. Each Bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit consisting of a BID BOND, or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company in the amount of 5% of the total bid price. The estimated value of this contract is $90,000. There are no filed sub-bids. The City of Newburyport reserves the right to waive any informalities, to accept or reject, in whole or in part any or all bids, or take whatever other action may be deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
