INVITATION TO BID 00-010-1 TOWN OF BOZRAH FIELDS MEMORIAL SCHOOL FUEL TANK REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT PROJECT Sealed bids for Fields Memorial School Fuel Tank Removal and Replacement Project project will be received at the Bozrah Town Hall, Office of the First Selectman, 1 River Road, Bozrah, Connecticut, 06334, until, but no later than 11:00 am on August 23,2021 at which time they will be publicly opened, recorded and read aloud. CONTRACT DOCUMENTS are available from the Bozrah Town Hall, Town Clerks Office, 1 River Road, Bozrah, Connecticut, 06334. BID SECURITY – A bid bond with an acceptable surety, or a certified or bank check in the amount of 5% of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond, a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond. PRE-BID CONFERENCE – A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 12, 2021, at 10 AM, at the Fields Memorial School. Potential Bidders are encouraged to visit the project site prior to submitting their bid. This will be the only opportunity for bidders to inspect the site prior to bidding. All bidders must be registered on the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services Construction Contractors Prequalification Program. The Town reserves the right to amend or terminate this Invitation, accept or reject any bid, reject all bids, waive any informalities or defects in any bid and award the contract to the bidder submitting the bid it deems to be in the best interest.
