LEGAL NOTICETOWN OF BERLINREQUEST FOR PROPOSALSDESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OFVEHICLE WASH BAYBID # 2021-16 The Town of Berlin Public Building Commission (PBC) is inviting qualified firms to submit proposals to design and build a new Vehicle Wash Bay Facility at the Townâs Physical Services Complex. The PBC seeks a team which includes design and construction, the âDesign-Build Team.â? The Town/PBC intends to issue one contract to the selected Team for the entire scope of work. The successful bidder shall provide a complete and operational wash bay system with all required appurtenances at no additional cost to the Town of Berlin.One (1) original and five (5) copies of sealed proposals must be received at the Town of Berlin, 240 Kensington Rd, Public Works Office, Room 120, Berlin, CT 06037 by 2:00 p.m. on April 1, 2021. The Town will not accept submissions by e-mail or fax. The Town will reject proposals received after the date and time noted above. The documents comprising the Request for Proposals may be obtained on the Townâs website, www.town.berlin.ct.us, under Departments, Purchasing, Current Bids and RFPs, or from the Purchasing office, Berlin Town Hall Room 110, 240 Kensington Rd, Berlin, CT 06037 during normal business hours. Each proposer is responsible for checking the Townâs website to determine if the Town has issued any addenda and, if so, to complete its proposal in accordance with the RFP as modified by the addenda. The Town Hall will remain closed to the public. It is strongly recommended bidders mail, UPS or Fedex bids.
