CREC Ana Grace Academy of the Arts State Project No. 241-0104 MAG/N/PS DS/CS Project No. BI-CRE-001 Ana Grace Bloomfield, CT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS for Photovoltaic System Subcontractor and material vendor proposals are being solicited for the CREC Ana Grace Academy of the Arts Phase II project in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Plans and Specifications will be available to bidders on February 24, 2021. Bidders should take care to familiarize themselves with all appropriate documents pertinent to the scope of work on which they are bidding. The scope of the work includes the following divisions: DIVISION 26 – ELECTRICAL / PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM BID DUE DATE & TIME Requests for proposals for are going to begin on February 24, 2021 and Subcontractor and Vendor Bids will be due on March 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM. A site walk-thru will be held March 3, 2021 at 1:00 PM.All bidders are to refer to the invitation to bid once documents are made available for instructions on submitting bids. Required Documents will be stipulated in the Invitation to Bid for all bidders to review. BID DOCUMENTS Contract documents may be obtained in one of two ways: 1. BID SURETY Bidders are required to submit a BID BOND or CERTIFIED CHECK in an amount equal to TEN PERCENT (10%) of the Base Bid with their bid for all proposals in excess of $100,000. PAYMENT AND PERFORMANCE BOND Successful bidders must provide Payment & Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract sum. Bidders will be required to conform to administration, insurance, and legal requirements identified in the contract documents. The owner or its construction manager reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding.
