Conduct and procedures for the investigation will be set forth by the Deep River Housing Authority and shall be strictly observed by all Bidders. The Bidder shall visit the property and become familiar with existing conditions, and become fully informed as to the extent and character of the work required. They should determine conditions which affect the work, and complete a thorough investigation prior to submitting a Bid. No allowances shall be made for a Bidder’s failure to avail themselves of such information. It should be noted that although pricing will be a significant factor in the bid evaluation process, an aggressive completion schedule shall receive strong consideration. Each Bidder shall be required to submit a proposed Project Schedule for consideration by the Owner.It is understood and agreed that the Owner reserves the privilege and right of accepting or rejecting any or all Bids, waiving minor informalities in any Bid, or making an award in the Owner’s best interest. The base Bid Proposal quotation shall be guaranteed for 120 days after the opening of the Bids.
