PEQUABUCK RIVER CONDUIT-CULVERT
REHABILITATION
The City of Bristol is seeking bids for sediment/materials removal and rehabilitation of sections of a water conduit for the Pequabuck River from School Street to Riverside Avenue. Electronic Bid documents may be obtained for a $15.00 download fee payable to QuestCDN accessible via the following website:

Bids will be accepted until April 29, 2021 at 1:00 pm, via the online electronic bidding system through QuestCDN.com. Bids submitted after the opening date and time will not be considered for award. Bids must be accompanied by a 10% Bid Bond payable tot he City of Bristol as issued by a surety licensed to do business in the State of CT. bidders are advised that separately from the download fee, submission of bids via QuestCDN are subject to a $15.00 posting fee.
Prospective bidders shall examine the “Instruction to Bidders” and “Supplementary Instructions to Bidders” and shall comply and conform strictly with the conditions and instructions contained therein.

The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business i the State of Connecticut. The requirements for prevailing wage rates are to apply to th resultant contract award.
The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bid, to reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in its judgment is in its best interest. Bids must b firm and may not be withdrawn for a period of 90 days following the bid opening.
