LEGAL ADVERTISEMENTADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS The Housing Authority of the City of Middletown (HA) is seeking sealed bids for:Exterior Door Replacement at Traverse Square, Middletown, CTBid Opening dated and time at the HA, 40 Broad Street, Middletown, CT 06457, Friday, June 4, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud virtually through Zoom or MS Teams.The work of the contract includes: Replacement of Front/Rear Apartment Doors and Associated Carpentry.Site review by all bidders will be on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Traverse Square, Middletown, CT 06457. Social distancing will be practiced including masks/ Covid-19 screening questions for all visitors.Contract documents and specifications will be available at Advanced Reprographics and on-line at Advancedrepro.net, on Monday, May 3, 20215% Bid Security and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds required.Bidders will note requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246) and related provisions in the General Conditions.Complete bidding requirements are noted in the Contract Documents.The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive anyinformality in the bidding.
