The Town of Plymouth is seeking bids for furnishing labor and equipment for Crushing and Processing Rock, Concrete & Bituminous Material.
Sealed bids will be received until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at the Town of Plymouth’s Mayor’s Office, 80 Main St., Terryville, CT 06786, at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Assembly Room of the Town Hall. Any bid received after that time will be returned unopened.
Specifications and bidding documents are available by
request electronically by email at publicworks@plymouthct.us. Please note: any
contractor interested in placing a bid MUST be registered as a bidder with the Town of Plymouth Public Works
Department of Public Works. Prospective bidders shall examine the “Instructions To Bidders” and shall comply and conform strictly to the conditions and instructions contained therein.

A mandatory prebid meeting will occur on site of 309 Town Hill Rd., Terryville, CT on June 15, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. where prospective bidders will get an opportunity to see the pile and site.
Any questions regarding this proposal are to be submitted in writing to Charles Wiegert at cwiegert@plymouthct.us no later than June 17, 2021 by 4 p.m.
The Town of Plymouth reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informality in bidding if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town of Plymouth.
Bids may be held by the Town of Plymouth for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidder prior to awarding the contract.
