INVITATION TO BID FEMA HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROJECT #4292-66-064-01 FORKSTON TOWNSHIP FALLS TOWNSHIP STRUCTURE DEMOLITION AND SITE RESTORATION Sealed proposals will be received at the Wyoming County EMA Office, 3880 SR 6, Suite 1, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 until 11:00 a.m. Prevailing Local Time (PLT) on Friday, April 23, 2021. Bids will be opened on Friday, April 23, 2021 immediately following the deadline at the Wyoming County EMA Office, 3880 SR 6, Suite 1, Tunkhannock, PA 18657. Work Shall Consist of the Following: The clearing and demolition of all existing structure(s) (i.e. buildings, homes, detached garages, septic systems, swimming pools, oil/fuel tanks, paved areas, driveways, etc.) on the indicated parcel(s) and the grading and seeding of all disturbed areas and all incidental work related thereto in a manner such that the impacted parcel(s) drain properly and can be mowed and maintained by the Owner. This work includes two (2) properties. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at no cost from the offices of LaBella Associates, 1000 Dunham Drive, Suite B, Dunmore, PA 18512; telephone (570) 904-6192; email espeicher@labellapc.com A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the Wyoming County EMA Office, 3880 SR 6, Suite 1, Tunkhannock, PA 18657. Proposals must be submitted upon the forms furnished by the Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to Wyoming County. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The successful bidder will be required to furnish the owner with 100% Performance Bond, Labor and Materials Bond, and Maintenance Bond. Bids may be held by Owner for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding of the contract. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Project Rates are included in this project and govern all work under the contract; if applicable.
