INVITATION TO BID Lehman Township Board of Supervisors invites bids for Old Route 115 Phase II — Misc. Repairs & Wearing Course Overlay. Bids will be received from 8:00am to 12:00pm on April 18, 2022, at the Lehman Township Municipal Building located at 1183 Old Route 115 Dallas, PA 18612 (570) 674-7788 and read aloud at a meeting of the Lehman Township Board of Supervisors at 7:00 pm on April 18, 2022. The project consists of the reconstruction of approximately 1.0 miles of Old Route 115 in Lehman Township under one contract. Contractors are required to be PennDOT Pre-Qualified, and a Bid Bond made payable to the Owner, in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid shall accompany each bid. Bonding companies for Bid, Performance and Payment Bonds must be listed in the U. S. Treasury Circular # 570. If the bid is accepted, the successful bidder(s) shall execute the Contract and shall furnish and pay for Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price within fifteen business days after receipt of the Notice of Award from the Architect along with the required Certificates of Insurance. This bid is for a public works contract and the bidder is subject to the provisions, duties obligations and penalties of the Public Works Employment Verification Act, 43 P.S. 167.1-167.11. All submitted bids shall include the “Public Works Employment Verification Form” which is included in the bid documents. The contractor shall ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. This project shall comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, including labor standards, prevailing wage determination decision, and anti-kickback regulations which are included in the contract documents of this project and govern all work under the contract. All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty (60) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Lehman Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
