INVITATION TO BID PUMP STATION IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 2 TOWN OF YARMOUTH, MA Sealed General Bids for the Pump Station Improvements Phase 2 Project will be received by the Yarmouth Water Department, located at 99 Buck Island Road, West Yarmouth, MA 02673, until 2:00 pm on October 13, 2021 at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked to indicate the contents. Sealed Bids for the following filed sub-bids: Division 4 – Masonry Work Division 7 – Roofing and Flashing Division 9 – Painting Division 23 – HVAC Division 26 – Electrical Work will be received Yarmouth Water Department, located at 99 Buck Island Road, West Yarmouth, MA 02673, until 2:00 pm on September 29, 2021 at which time and place said Filed Sub-Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked to indicate the contents. The work includes building and safety improvements to 11 pump stations. Building upgrades include roof and ceiling replacement, new roof hatches, select door replacements, painting, and electrical and HVAC improvements. A non-mandatory pre-bid walkthrough will be held on September 16, 2021 at 11:00 am starting at the Yarmouth Water Division Office. All interested Contractors are urged to attend. Contract Documents may be examined at the Yarmouth Water Division Office, 99 Buck Island Road, Yarmouth, MA. Wage rates for this project are subject to the minimum wage rates per M.G.L., Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, inclusive. The bidding and award of the Contract shall be in full compliance with Sections 44A to 44J inclusive of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as last revised.
