INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals

INVITATION TO BID Sealed bids will be received by the Lackawanna River Basin Sewer Authority for Contract 21-4 Streambank Stabilization project located in Dickson City Borough, Lackawanna County. Bids will be received by the Authority at the Authority’s office, Rear 145 Boulevard Avenue, Throop, PA 18512 until 6:00 P.M., Local Prevailing Time, October 11, 2021, at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Work shall consist of the restoration of approximately 357 L.F. of eroded streambank along the Lackawanna River with R-5 and R-7 rip rap bank protection. Prospective Bidders may receive copies of the bid documents in an electronic format issued on a CD from the Lackawanna River Basin Sewer Authority upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $10.00 per disk. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at the project location in rear of the Dickson City Municipal Building, 901 Enterprise Street, Dickson City, PA 18519. Bid documents may be reviewed at the office of the Lackawanna River Basin Sewer Authority. Bids will only be received from interested parties who have received bid documents from the Owner. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified bank treasurer’s check, certified cashier’s check or a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid. All bids shall remain irrevocable for sixty (60) days after opening unless award is delayed due to the required approval of another government agency, in which case the bids shall be irrevocable for one hundred twenty (120) days in compliance with Act 317 of 1978.
