INVITATION TO BID

Sealed proposals will be received by Fairmount Township Luzerne County 362 Municipal Road
Benton Pa.17814 until 4:00 p.m. on October 21, 2021 for the following:

1. 6,300 L.F PAVEMENT BASE DRAIN W/GEOTEXTILE, INSTALLED
2. 340 L.F. 18″ PIPE, INSTALLED
3. 1,278 TON SUPERPAVE SCRATCH & LEVELING COURSE, 9.5mm, IN PLACE
4. 800 TON SUPERPAVE WEARING COURSE 19.0mm, IN PLACE

Specification can be received by calling 570-864-2495 or at the Fairmount Township Municipal Building 362 Municipal Road Benton Pa. 17814. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $870.00 per calendar day. The Bids will be opened at the Special Board of Supervisor’s Meeting on October 21, 2021 beginning at 7.00 p.m. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by FAIRMOUNT TOWNSHIP. The Bid must be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid, made payable to FAIRMOUNT TOWNSHIP. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals
