INVITATION TO BID The City of Shamokin will receive sealed bids at Shamokin City Hall, 47 E. Lincoln Street, Shamokin, PA, until 3 p.m. On Wednesday, March 3, 2021. All sealed bids received prior to the set deadline will be opened and reviewed at the workshop meeting that evening at 6 p.m. Bids will be tabulated and reviewed by legal counsel and will be awarded at the regular monthly council meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. On Monday, March 8, 2021. The said council meeting will be held at 511 N. Franklin St. (Side Entrance), Shamokin, PA. Bid will be received for the following work: — Library Upper Level Renovations — Library Natural Gas Boiler System — Library Electrical Construction Contract documents are on file and may be reviewed at City Hall, 47 E. Lincoln St., Shamokin,PA 17872. Copies of the contract documents are available by contacting the project engineer, Michael Catino, from Catino Associates, Inc., 802 North Sixth Street, Shamokin, Telephone 570-486-9396. Electronic copies of documents will be made available to registered bidders only. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bondor certified check in the amount of not less than 10 percent (10%) of the bid and made payable to the City of Shamokin. Each bid shall be irrevocable for a period of 60 days The City of Shamokin reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process NOTE: Work under this project is subject to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
