Invitation to Bid The Housing Authority of the Town of Middlefield (MHA) is seeking sealed bids for: Limited Interior and Exterior Renovation of Unit 25 at Sugarloaf Terrace Housing Complex, Rockfall, CT. Bid Opening date and time at the MHA, 61 Cedar Street, Rockfall, CT 06481, Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 3:00 pm. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work of the contractor includes limited interior and exterior renovations including but not limited to bathroom renovations, flooring replacement, kitchen upgrades, window replacement, electrical upgrades, fire alarm/notification upgrades, carpentry, painting and all miscellaneous items of work required. Site review by all bidders will be on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 10:00 am at 61 Cedar Street, Rockfall, CT 06481. Meet at Community Building. Contract Documents, Drawings and Specifications will be available for review at MHA, on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at 10:00 am, and can be viewed on-line at www.advancedrepro.net, or purchased at Advanced Reprographics. 5% Bid Security and 100% Performance/Payment Bonds required. Bidders will note requirements of minimum wage rates, nondiscrimination/equal opportunity rules (Executive Order 11246) Section 3 and related provisions in the General Conditions. Complete bidding requirements are noted in the Contract Documents. The Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority.
