INVITATION TO BID The Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Railroad Authority is requesting sealed bids for the following project: * 290 acres of weedspraying on all Pennsylvania Northeast Regional Railroad Authority owned rail lines. All work must be completed with on track equipment. Applicators must have all required certifications and must be qualified to work on railroad property and have received the proper training in Roadway Worker Safety as required by Federal regulations. Contract documents and specifications are on file and may be obtained at the PNRRA offices, 280 Cliff St., Scranton, PA 18503 (570-963-6676). Addenda, if any, will be issued to only those persons whose name and address are on record with the PNRRA of having obtained the contract documents and specifications. All work must be completed by June 18, 2021. Sealed Bids are to be plainly marked with the project for which they are intended. All bids must be addressed to and in the hands of the undersigned at 280 Cliff St., Scranton, PA 18503, no later than 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 13, 2021. The PNRRA/DLRR reserves the right to waive any and all defects in the proposals submitted. The right to reject any and all proposals is hereby reserved the PNRRA/DLRR. The PNRRA/DLRR reserves the right to increase/decrease the scope of work to meet funding availability.
